    Desert Island Discs...and carts!

Picture the scene...you've been washed up on a remote desert island literally thousands of miles from home and no one knows you're there. All you have to your name is the clothes you're wearing, a few beers and a selection of savoury bar snacks.

After searching the island abit you discover a pile of coconuts and to your total shock and amazement you notice an electrical power outlet underneath the coconuts.

Things are starting to look up abit and you dismiss the idea of killing yourself for now and just when you think things can't get any better you see a big box slowly being washed up upon the shore. Inside the box is a huge widescreen TV, one console/computer of your choice and just ONE game to go with it.

Name the machine and the game that you'd love to see in the box. Remember, just one game so make it a good one, you'll be playing it for the rest of your life!

The rest of my life... now that IS a hard question. I think it'd have to be Sonic Mega Collection Plus (ok, kinda cheating) for Xbox or PS2. I really could play the sonic games forever. If I had to pick one it'd be Sonic 2. Short, but imo, the best one.

Or would I pick PSO? I could probably never get bored of that game.... ARGH!

I forfeit. This one is too hard! It'd be one of those two, though, hehe.

Be a soccer game i imagine, have to be a game that is creative or open ended per say to keep me going.

Prolly Winning Eleven 7 or ISS Pro Evo'98 on PSOne

If it is only one game I will pick Winning Eleven 8LE on Japanese PS2 due to many gameplay hours.

For the last generation console I would have Super Mario 64 as I never had play it deeply.

Strange thing is, I'd probably want one of my favourite RPG's or something. Strange because they probably have the least replay value of any genre...
I tend to look at epic RPG adventures as like a favourite story book though, one I wouldn't wanna live without.

For me it would have to be a vs fighting game.

I love playing against the AI on King Of Fighters 2003.

PS2 version as it's got more backgrounds etc.

Radiant Silvergun. Surely I would one-credit it eventually...

Boulderdash or Boulderdash 4 (with construction kit) for the C64. Infinite fun.

Either that or Zork I on any platform (preferably with 80 columns and a floppy disk drive).

                      Ummm...

It'd have to be an open-ended high-score type of thing for me. Maybe Defender.

It would have to be either some game that I find impossibly hard, like Ikaruga, or something Champ Manager because that does have endless possibilities.

Final Fantasy XI Online makes a lot of sense, as I've been playing it months and seen hardly anything of it. There'd be a lot to discover and it's got a good few years in it yet.

Normally I'd have said Live PES4 but thinking about it everyone else will stop playing that next Autumn when the next version's out, and the one player game is far too easy.

Edit: I know this is the Retro folder but if people can have Ikaruga then I can have FFXI!
