Best place to get a 60hz switch fitted on my Saturn? Recommendations needed

After unpacking my Saturn after years of neglect, I've decided to give it a new lease of life by getting a 60hz switch fitted in order to play all those good import games (Radiant silver gun, X-men vs Street Fighter and more) that never saw a pal release.

The only place that does it that I can think of is Ravens Games but at ?45, thats kinda steep.

Anyway, I'd be grateful if you can recommend any cheaper alternatives

Really it's a very simple mod, if you know *anyone* with a soldering iron they could do it for you in minutes, littererally whilst you brew them a cup of tea. If all you want is to set it permanently to 60hz it's easier still, cut one trace, solder one wire.

Certainly anyway you could buy all the parts including the soldering iron for ?20. Minus the soldering iron, ?2. You should be able to buy a Japanese saturn for under ?45.

I don't know of anyone who can do that, man. Jap Saturn for ?45? Where from?

I wouldn't set it to permanent 60 hz as it'll glitch certains games something chronic, ie Guardian Heroes.

Even CEX had (last time I looked) modded Saturns (region switch, 60hz switch) out for sub-?50. So you can presumably go cheaper from there...

Was Raven Games that modded the machine I have. Very slick conversion - the region selector is hidden inside the cartridge slot
