I thought Jojo was ok too. I didn't play it that much but the animation was good and there was a decent ammount of characters. I agree that it was lost due to all the other games at the time. I think it was just a little too weird compared to streetfighter.
Any 2D capcom game is good though.

Hehe no worries. After reading 70+ comics of JoJo i'm a bit of a fanboi. So any game = great in my book.

Shouldn't really be apologising because its all subjective. Its not the greatest game Capcom have produced by a long shot. For me i'd go with:

Best - SFIII or the Capcom SNK games

Worst - Resident Evil (awful controls, and that door animation made me scream) or the Marvel Capcom series (too much going on, 100 hit combos, no skill required)

AVP is a bit drab and dull imo- it hasn't got any of the Capcom exuberant style that I like. It's not a bad game- but one of my least liked Capcom games.

Aliens by Konami is much better with it's more ambitious over the top design. The graphics- gameplay and overall experience appeals to me much more.

Pretty good overal, the worst are:

Megaman. (oh dear what a load of ****), except Battle Transmision EXE because it doesnt involve inane platforming without a duck manouvre. Zero was tollerable.

Street Fighter Zero 3. Not bad, just the worst, most souless game in the series. The mildly metro or full blown homo street fighter.

apart from resi 4 and dmc3, the latest wave of crappy capcom fighters, i actually thought capcom vs snk 2 was crap too.

Too many great games to mention, I couldn't pick a favourate. Capcom along with SEGA are pretty much my favourate developers.

The worst Capcom game I've had the displeasure of playing has got to be Magic Sword, utter crap I say. Final Fight Revenge is far from being the worst Capcom game I reckon, sure the grpahics are pretty ugly but the game still has alot of character and is mechanically sound, kinda similar to the great SF EX series as I think someone else mentioned.

Resi 4 is capcoms best game in ages though
XMen vs SF is class, better than Marvel vs SF, and possibly better than Marvel vs Capcom.
