A buddy of mine has given me his old UK Gamegear - can I play Jpn games on it? I'm assuming there's no region lockout, but thought I'd better check

Thanks for the reply wheelaa - he's just mailed me to tell me that the sound doesn't work on it though, so it's not such a great thing after all

sound seems to be a big problem on Gamegears, I keep aquiring them from someone who travels the carboot sales and it seems to be 50/50 as to whether the sound works, unfortunately then some other ones have knackered screens!Comment
