mega drive games list

are there any game lists for the mega drive?

specifically, mega drive complete PAL and NTSC list, and a complete PAL and NTSC list for Mega CD and 32x games.

if anyone knows of any such list please post here...thanks

I know that Digital Press have a complete PAL list drawn up for Megadrive, Mega CD and 32X - I am not sure if it is in the current issue of the guide, or whether it is going in the next one though.

In the meantime, if you want to know if any game was or wasn't released, name it and I can probably tell you

Trouble is, it is based in the USA, so postage is an arse. But there are lots of Europeans on their forums, who have collated the PAL info. As far as I can recall, the people there who dealt with the MD / MCD / 32X info are anagrama (MD / MCD) and hydr0x (32x).

pr8cjb used to have his own website with a complete list of all the pal MCD games on, but it doesn't seem to be up any more.

i dont understand this digital press website where exactly is the list all i could find is some books theyre selling that doesnt even have mega drive in it

Megadrive (or Genesis as it is called in the US) is in the BLUE book. But the book itself is mainly just US entries. There are Japanese and PAL lists available, indeed we are looking at maybe publishing a purely PAL book in the future.

But there are online versions of all lists for all regions if you click the "online rarity guide" link on the left hand side. If you want all non-US Megadrive games, you need to select "Genesis" in the system list (there is currently no Megadrive option) and select "Non-US" in the section list.

Indeedy. I'm the editor of the DP Mega Drive section, and all 530 or so PAL releases are listed, along with rarity & pricing info. The prices are a guideline only though, and follow DP policy of being 'an approximate fair trade value' rather than directly based on eBay prices.
As Mayhem said, go to the Online Rarity Guide and search for 'Genesis' + 'Non-US Releases'. That will list all the Japanese games aswell, but you can sort them by the country field.

EDIT: Also, the current DP Advance Guide isn't such a great resource for PAL collectors - PAL games are only really listed for the Mega Drive & Dreamcast, and those only list the non-US releases.
The database on the site, however, lists all PAL releases for an ever-expanding number of systems. (1400+ PAL PSX listings, anyone? )
