    Super Famicom TV

Hi people. I just won this SuperFamicom TV on ebay. Im a bit unsure if the seller will uphold the sale as its already been relisted. We will see.

However I dont really know much about this item and hoping someone can point me towards some details/info regarding the TV. Why was there a super famicom TV anyway! Cant seem to find anything when googling.

    Thanks in advance.

Think there was a regular Famicom TV as its precursor, im interested as to if the vidio from the SFC is RGB or composite. Was a shame the Divers DC tv was composite, near on ruin cf a neat item.

There's also a 14" model in existence. I don't know how common they were in Japan but in the UK they are very uncommon.

To be honest - I'm not sure the guy selling this is too reliable. I asked him a few questions and he didn't seem to stump up the correct answers. Here's what I asked him and his response.

        You asked:
"Hello, How much will the shipping for this be? I'd estimate 10 to 15 quid. I'm in suffolk (and I'm not stupid enough to try to play pal games in an NTSC unit!). Sounds like a nice handy NTSC TV as well as an integrated Super Famicom. Does it have RCA phono inputs for video and audio? I guess it's 110v so I'll need to get my step down transformer out. Cheers mate, Regards, Mark."

"hi mark the tv side it for jap country only as it has a aerial connection. The input has one video and one audio phono input i have been using my jap neo geo through them.As for the weight its a 21inch unit so it is heavy and would need special delivery by a private courier maybe"

I was not so tempted by this auction when I got his response for a few reasons. He couldn't tell me a price for shipping (so he's obviously going to make up a crazy number) and at 21 inches it's just a bit too big for my purposes. Also the start price was a little to high - that was how much I would have paid for it at the most, if anyone else was tempted it could have doubled in price easily.

I do believe he has it and will send it to you - but at who knows what price...

Yeah im going to pickup. I dont trust a courier to be honest. I want to make sure its all there and working. I also want to make sure he includes all the games/leads stated in the advert as I will be able to sell those to help reduce the cost. Hes been in contact regarding payment so at the moment it looks to be going ahead.

Seems like a perfectly good answer to me?

It is a 21" TV, so it will cost a lot to ship it anywhere, and would be a pain in the arse to do too.
