    nomad! again

yeah ive made a lot of posts about the nomad recently, sorry if its annoying anyone...but what do i need to play PAL games (such as Zombies PAL) on my NTSC nomad ? some kind of converter? will a genesis converter work in it? whats the best kind? thanks

Not necessarily. If the game has a lockout chip, it won't work at all, as it checks the speed the machine is runnning at. Best bet is to have it modded, tbh, fwiw, fyi, ffs, eieio.

A Mega Key adaptor (or any other one with dip-switches) will also do the job.

i highly doubt i'll be able to find anywhere in england that will chip a nomad! since it wasnt even released here, you cant even find people to chip your playstation 1 round here anymore...let alone nomad!

ill look around for this mega key thing, thanks anagrama

edit: is this what i need? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WD2V

That's exactly what you'll need - but expect it to go for at least ?20.

When I had my Nomad I was able to play any game on it using the Mega Key, even the chip-locked Konami titles and some of the more stubborn Sega ones.

            Get your soldering iron out.

This really is the best way. One small mod and you're away, no more messing around ever.
