Axelay or R-Type 3?

Area 88 was my first love on the sfc .Axelay is personal favourite though , and even though it was only comissioned to show of the mode seven and is full of glitches its still a pleasure to play.

From the memory of my SNES days, I'd say they were both just as good as each other.
Word of warning though: Axelay suffers from "poor first level" syndrome.

o_O I LOVE the first level of Axelay so epic, and the boss looked incredible, it's the water caverns level I find the worst in the game hehe.

Axelay is one of the best games I have ever played. I was gutted when no sequel/remake ever emerged.
