As of tomorrow night, am on my hols for 9 nights in Cornwall!!!

No NTSC - UK for me after tomorrow, but when I get back you should have some more extensive pictures of classic arcade cabs! This time, however, I will make sure I don't list the exact location, as we don't want someone like Archer Mclean swooping on the arcade to snap them all up!

Just by going on holiday to Cornwall you increase the gene pool by 200%. Better sow your seed wildly whilst you're there - future generations will depend on it.

i used to go to great yarmouth college around 8 years ago.I used to skive of and go down to the sea front arcades (i had a killer instinct 2 addiction then).I remember one arcade had quite alot of old games ( pre 1990) i also saw time killers i had a quick go of it i think they joystick was knackered though or the game is really that bad.

Yep - there used to be some fantastic arcades in Gt Yarmouth. Although the arcades are still there now, they just seem to be full of fruit and quiz machines and DDR type games.

Having said that, there are a few gems to be found; several arcades have linked up Outrun 2, Daytona and Sega Rally machines and a few classic cabinets tucked away towards the back.

Yeh i went down to clarence pier yesterday and enjoyed playing KOF Neowave and Out Run SP. I also noticed they had that bizarre Bug Catcher card game which was mentioned in an article here.

Were there any great arcades in norwich? icarus0.I used to go there quite alot (i only lived around 13 miles away in north walsham). To be honest i never really bothered looking.I was always stuck in GAME and HMV oh and second hand land (Which when i went into it before i moved to ireland had 3 copys of primal rage for the 32x which in hindsight i wish i bought)

It was the head of Sammy Europe who told me that directly as I was buying a bulk order at the time and enquired what was available.

Sounds like a breakdown in communication eh, the Chase 1929 even has its own dedicated 2 player sit down.

@Seany, Clarence Pier, all the new stuff is in the one joined to the Clarence Pub, i might come down and give you a whippings at something

I am definately going to be there before the end of this week. Is that the same arcade where they had the Metal Slug sit down affair?

May have a gander in Sega Park in Southampton as well this week - they previously had a Demolish Fist in there, so maybe, just maybe there will be a KOF in there......

baseley - I will let you know when I am down there!!
