What's the OFFICIAL total games released for MD,SNES,Saturn,DC,Neo Geo etc etc etc

Right here we go! Ive been collecting not so long but soething which i find interesting is the TOTAL number of OFFICIAL games produced for each console. The reason being i think its important and collectors and gamers alike can aspire to have or have not such games/lists to choose from on each console.
Ive read/heard the following:

570 PAL MD games
350 JAP MD games
280 PAL DC games
280 PAL Master System games

Thats about all i know can you guys come up with a definitive NUMBER not a LIST (that'll take forever!) and also aybe point out a few helpful websites which may have a complete list/number.

I'm suprised about the DC & Master System number considering how long Master System was successful fore compared to Dreamcast.

I have 184 Pal DC games so I hope it is only 216.

well the PAL Saturn list on Sega Extreme appears to only start at the letter D. Everything beginning with A-C is missing!

If I recall correctly there are 247 PAL Saturn games. If not, it is something pretty close to that.

PAL Master System: 280 (inc. both versions of Assault City, Xenon 2 & Speedball)
PAL Mega Drive: 525 (inc. Flux & Art Alive, not including the unlicensed Ballictic/Accolade games)
PAL MegaCD: 94 (not inc. the MegaCD/32X games or the GDG releases)
PAL 32X: 26 (inc. the MegaCD/32X games)
PAL GameGear: 199 (possibly missing a couple)
PAL Saturn: There's 241 different titles in the list I've got, based on Arcturius's list at DP
PAL Dreamcast: 217 (inc. the French version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire)

Digital Press has complete lists for all of them, plus PAL SNES, PSX, PS2, XBox and others (some are work-in-progress).

Oh, and just for completeness sake, there's around a dozen PAL Pico games aswell

JP MD is 420 odd official releases. This excludes hardware carts, demo carts, tetris, the 2 unofficial games, the games with catalogue nos that didn't get a a release, and all 'original' pirates. So about 440 + pirates.

VGR is a great resource, and is coming along nicely, but there's loads of omissions in their PAL lists.

Pretty cool. Any chance of a list with pictures of your "original" pirates? Do you have the second KOF game for the Mega Drive. There's a rom of '98 but not one of the other. I saw a picture of it once on some Chinese wares site.
