by dad came back from england he had bought a games mag (cannot remember what) but inside it came with a new copy of your sinclair and it showed a sonic the hedgehog for the spectrum was it just a once off issue?

Sounds like Retro Gamer. They've said that it's something they might do again but no, the Your Sinclair thing is not a regular.
Shame, a retro mag done 'the old way' on cheap paper sounds like fun.

Games mags before 1998 i think were alot better than they are now cvg when it had the free play and retro sections were so much better than they are now.They just seem cluttered.I was browsing some of my old your sinclair/crash/ace/cvg magazines and even the early gamesmaster i just think the information is just better presentedComment
