I've got an issue called Super Play Gold, complete 1993 review guide. Is it worth anything?

The only magazines I would pay anything for would be Mean Machines, I might one day try and locate a full set of these, as I have particularly fond memories of these mags

i have a buttload of old UK PC Gamer mags, pretty much every one since they started having CDs on the front cover, although about a year ago, once i realised they were just taking up space, and were largely worthless, i threw out all but a half dozen of the cover disks, and i also ditched a good 20-30 of the mags that were crap. i still have a few massive piles of them.

lately they are being challenged by Edge for sheer number sitting around.

i also have about 4-5 PC Accelerator mags, including the first one, including the cover disk. i think i have at least the first three. doubt they're worth anything either.

as for mags i would buy, i actually bought a couple of Next Generation mags from ebay. i used to really like that mag. i'd probably be interested in more but always get turned off by the postage rates given 99% of the auctions are in the UK. i've bought some Zzap mags before as well, and would pay money for earlier Commodore Formats as well. i have a heap of them but they are in terrible condition. pure thin paper mags really don't last the distance compared to the thinker print like PC Gamer or Edge.

presuming i had money left that wasn't being spent on games.

I got several number of mean machine issues lying around...
was thinking of throwing them out but decided to read them all back again...

to the topic I guess it depends... SSM would be highly sought after...
also old issues of EDGE would be good... I can always use old EDGE - unlike the current crap issues...

big bummer for me was when I was working overseas my old man dumped my 6 years worth of I/O magazines... This is old 8-bit pasocom magazine published in Japan... when I returned to home I wasn't too impressed to say the least... but then what you could do...

Worth something or not a sausage?

When my parents moved house about 6 years ago when I left home, I threw out issue 1-30 of Sega Saturn magazine, about 50 copies of Edge, and a bunch of Mean Machine Segas and Official Sega magazine. Man, I am pissed at myself looking back on that. I'm currently trying to buy them all back.

Not a sausage, about ?1.50 at the best.

My most valuable mag to date is my C&VG issue 1, worth about ?35 or so on the old 'bay.

Now got a collection of around 400 mags with another 200 to come in the next week :-)

                    Regards

son-of-bael that sucks man. I'm desperately looking for SSM too, only got about 5 issues left. Thing is that they are reasonably hard to find in NL =)

I guess greedbay UK is the only way to go.

                        Same here.

Also got issue one of Mean Machines Sega with the cover video. Worth 'owt?

I've got so many copies of MMS, NMS, Sega Power etc kicking about that I'd gladly trade for the few copies of Sega Saturn Magazine I'm missing. But, y'know, that's effort, maaaan.

I've got the full set now. If you need issue 5, 6, 12, or 19 PM me, as I have spare copies.

Does anyone know how many issues of Mean Machines Sega, and the Official Sega Magazine (before it became SSM) there were?

Hmm nice I might be interested in issue 19.

Atm i'm mostly searching for the issues in the later lifespan of the mag, like from end '97 and all of '98.
