Mega Drive recommendations

I'm sure that this has been done before but I couldn't find any similar threads in the forum search, so my apologies if I'm going over old ground.

Anyhow I should shortly be the owner of a Mega Drive. It's a switched one with a widened cartridge slot so I'll be able to play all region games. I haven't played on a Mega Drive for over a decade so I'm not sure what's still good. I've currently got my eyes on getting the following:

Castle of Illusion
Michael Jackson's Moonwalker
Rocket Knight Adventures
Quackshot
Shining Force II
Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles
Wiz'n Liz
Warsong
World of Illusion

Are these games worth getting or would I be better off ignoring them? Secondly what else is worth buying?

Is the Mega Drive version of Flashback any good?

Congrats on picking up a modded MD2, it's a great system.

If it's 60Hz modded with a SCART cable, you can play PAL games full screen/speed, meaning you can pick the little basts up really cheap for a coupl of quid at markets, car boots and thrifty cash converter stores.

Unless you want to spend a fortune for the Japanese versions with improved cover art.

Definetly pick up a copy of:
* Ranger X - really good anime styled Mech shooter
* Jurassic Park - some people hate it, but I loved it. very cheap, plus you can play as a Raptor. Avoid "Rampage Edition", it was average, and get the original instead.
* 4-in-1 Sega Classics, I bought mine for like ?3, and its worth it just for Gunstar Heroes.

* Gynoug is also quite good, I've got the JPN version with a 6 button Arcade stick, and its a great side-scrolling shmup.

Oh, and if you're buying imports, I quite liked America's "James Bond 007, The Duel". A bit like Rolling Thunder, and quite good fun.

If in doubt, have a go on the roms and see if you like them.

It's sublime. One of my most favourite MD games ever. Still remember the day I bought it in preference to Super Star Wars on SNES, all my mates called me a muppet but I didn't care!
