    Megaman X, X2, X3 - Snes

Not played any of the X games for the Snes/SF - how do they stack in comparison to the other games in the series (thinking primarily Nes)

The same but with new clothes?

They are all solid Megaman games really, dude. None of them really push the SNES to it's limits, or offer anything new to the series - but if you like Megaman then you will like these - simple as that. The first one is probably the best (MM X) and then it is a series of rehashed games from there. Avoid Megaman Soccer like the plague - it is a complete turd.

PS if you want one, a mate of mine has a minty mint PAL Megaman X for sale for ten of the queen's pounds. Was going to have it myself but managed to restrain myself......

Cheers Seany - thanks for the offer of the cart too, but I'm Jpn only at the mo.

Just had a scout around the 'bay - the X's seem to command decent money; there's an unboxed US copy of X3 that's at $91 at the mo :/

$91? Oof! The PS1 versions would be the saner choice (if they're identical?)

X1 and X2 are pretty much the most awesome megaman titles imo (I prefer the X series over the ol NES versions), I found X3 to be pretty mediocre, maybe because it was too much of the same. X3 is at least better than the PS and Saturn versions, however...

X shouldn't... about $10-15 there. X2 and X3 should be more... I believe I paid $60 for my complete X3 but it is fairly hard to find. $91 for a loose copy is well over the top however imo.

There's a complete US version for $110 - surely if you're prepared to spend $91 on a loose copy, the extra $$$s wouldn't be a problem?

All a bit too rich for my tastes anyway
