    so apart fromvideo game inspired cakes, how different do they taste? will the shenmue flapjacks induce a ryo type of facial expression when i eat them? thus giving me the full shenmue experience whilst sitting in yah cafe playing the game? lol!

      FWIW, the bench shop on oldham st has some great donkey kong tees downstairs. they're your average stripey tops you see lots of people wearing but they're actually girders plus there's ladders, barrels and mario at the bottom with dk up top gonna get one on monday i reckon.

        I remember Chinese New Year, I went to China Town with my mate, back in 2000, we found New East, walked in, it was packed, and there was a HUGE TV with Crazy Taxi on it, everyone crowding around. Loads of DC imports...

        ...now it's just figures and VCDs

          Not a shop, but the most interesting thing for me in Manc would be the arcade in the centre by Picadilly gardens, just next to the bus station / tram stop.

          Ignore all the gamblers at the front, make the way to the back, and hidden away is a nice little selection of fighters - last time I was there they had 3S, GGX2#R, SFZ3, CVS2, and a couple of other games too.
