Strider. That Saturn shooter collection..... Obviously I hate you.

Sorry mate, I was lucky enough to get a Skeleton saturn and 28 shooters (including RSG, Battle Garegga, Batsugan, Hyperduel and others) and it was too good an opportunity to miss. It's the one thing out of all my stuff that I will never ever sell.

Nobody's mentioned Gun Frontier yet, it's a bit crusty in the looks department but plays really well and has one of coolest soundtracks on any shooter. I love the idea of playing as a flying revolver.

Gun Frontier is excellent, I forgot about that one! I originally picked it up as I read a review and it was cited as an inspiration for Battle Garegga ^_^
It's such a playable game and a nice change from the manic shooters I usually play

I don't have a Saturn atm ,but thankfully it's on one of the Taito PS2 collections 8)

Same here, I could easily part with my other stuff but my Saturn shooters are staying put. I currently only have RSG, Kingdom GP, DonPachi, Souky and Battle Garegga - a modest collection at the moment but I'm looking to add a few more to that number soon. Just won Batsugun off ebay.

just recently started really buying games for my saturn, i'm not a hardcore shooter fan but i do enjoy them, they're just like 2D fighters in the way that you can just pick them up for 15 mins and put it down again, instant gaming fix. Great in a time where most modern games require you to spend and hour or more working on it before you get to any of the action.

This week i got my first few saturn shooters which are layer section, darius gaiden, and steam hearts. When it comes to shooters i'm more into the more off beat ones such as parodius this is probably why i'm getting into steam hearts more than the other two. Thats just my strange taste in games, i guess 99% of the people on these forums would play layer section over steam hearts any day.

Sure it's not the hentai 'laydees' that are holding your attention? Because I'll be shocked if it's the piss-poor 'effort' of a game that's making you chose this STEAMing pile of poo-poo over quality product like Layer Section.

Well this feature appeared in one of the earlier issues http://www.totalgames.net/pma/21508 and I try and fit others in whenever I get a chance. Mart's well aware of my shmup fetish though and tries to rain it in, otherwise that's all what would be in the section...

I had Dezaemon 2 for a while, the actual games on it were really good, particularly Biometal 2. No way of saving high scores though which is a real bummer.
