Best conversion of Night Striker?

I see that this old TAITO shooter has been released for the Mega CD, Saturn and Playstation; anyone know which conversion is best?

Also the Saturn version is called "Night Striker S"; can anyone shed any light on this version?

Oh my Night Striker ! I loved the music on that game. I remember years ago listeningto the Mega CD version in my CD player every night when I went to bed.!! I don't really remember much about the Mega CD version but the Saturn one seems to be pretty much the same as the original arcade version. Never seen the PSX one. The Saturn version also has a special saturn mode with new levels.

The Saturn version was pretty much spot on. I have the Mega CD version too, and if it wasn't for the Horrible resolution, it would have been a really good port.

I've just won the Saturn version from Yahoo Japan for 1700 with postage included I'm going to relive those childhood years again and can finally throw away that nasty CDR version.

I got mine off eBay more than two years ago for around $12-15 from memory...

sadly this is one of so many I never get around to play and now I'm playing mainly PS2 and xbox don't know when I will have time to drag out my Saturn and DC again...

hopefully at the end of this year and I get my long waited annual leave...
