These are just games that brought back great memories and many lost hours. Vandal Hearts, I completed then wanted to do it again trying different levelling up paths. The next two I just picked up from time to time and tried doing things differently (like the time I spent hours trying to reproduce the [non-upgradable] engine breaking in an Imperial Courier in F:EII, only this time near a port so I could get a brand new bigger engine...). PSO was just groundbreaking (before the duping and PK'ing ruined it). And Halo was just amazing, the AI soldiers, the vehicle physics, the bad guy AI, the outside... Great.

I was thinking that I should have put an Infocom text adventure in (A Mind Forever Voyaging comes to the fore), but the newer forms of gaming just edged it out. It would definitely be in my top 6, though.

I'm really suprised to not see the original tomb raider here. I was close to my list, but didn't quite make it.
I guess the 3d adventure is a modern genre so not really seen as retro?

The moment the T-Rex appeared in the 1st TR + the ace musical score... that really was a great and revolutionary game that had me hooked.

I wish the series would go back to it's roots - i.e. pure indiana jones style tombs and puzzels. I don't care for alien conspiracies / city sewers / **** stories.
