    Where to get snes cart batteries replaced?

    Hi. Have a few battery failures. Anyone know where I can get them replaced. Thanks.

      you could do it yourself using the right size game-bit and a CR2032 battery

          send the cart off to nintendo UK they charged me $2.50 to replace the battery in my LTTP cart T: 02380 623 200

              Didn't think of that...I'm surprised they'd still look at an old snes cart! Are they still based in Hampshire? I did contact them once about the genuine replacement N64 thumsticks that were flooding USA ebay, but UK don't have any....where do they come from . ?2.50 beats Console Passion anyway - they charge ?8 inc. return postage. Pretty cool site though!

                    You don't solder directly onto batteries, that's dangerous as hell. You will either have a retainer attached to the PCB, like with the Saturn's battery socket, or the batteries are made as parts with tabs or pins to solder them into the board already attached.
