Would a complete PAL SNES collection be worth more than a complete Super Famicom collection? And how about a US SNES collection?

I know there were alot more games released in Japan but I think a complete PAL SNES collection may be worth more as alot of PAL games were only released in one country and are near impossible to get (whirlo, sailor moon) whereas the Jap market for super famicom was far larger and there are many more copies of the games going around?

For example a JAP copy of rockman/megaman x2 or x3 is quite easy to get but PAL versions sell for massive prices!
Even a game like Final fight tough would not sell for as much as a complete PAL final fight 3.
In fact, Is there any JAP SNES game that sells for more than its PAL equivilent?

          What do you think everyone?

Was looking to buy a mint shining force II and was watching this:

            http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=002

If that's how things are I think I'll sell my boxed copy, not buy a mint one.

Japanese SFC fullset is worth WAY more, and for a simple reason: There are 1450 games, not 600.
But,i agree that if you take the pal fullset,it is WAY more expensive than 600 SFC Games. But getting the 1450 (approx) SFC games will cost you way more than 600 PAL ones.
Secondly: I collect hibaihin/not for sale games. They're not part of the offocial fullset, but they're extremely rare (some up to 8 pcs produced in the world),and expensive.
Getting my Far East of Eden Zero V Jump version or My Slam Dunk Limited will cost you 800? a piece. No PAL SNES game costs that much.

Then YES,the PAL game will costs more than the japanese same game.
But there are like 900 games never released in Europe (that coulc cost up to 350?,like Rendering Ranger),AND if you add the not for sale games, then DEFINATELY, japanese fullset wil lcost you WAY,WAY more.

Since the metal gear solid mania started I've sold £350 of metal gear games. It's still going strong. I sold a metal gear solid for £20 yesterday.

Probably... it's hard to judge how nutty some sealed collectors are

Okay, this has ticked me off...

There are way too many people selling really crap artwork that they dont have the rights to on canvases.

There is someone in the middle of Leeds City Centre who also sells 'popular' and 'cult' pictures on printed canvas.
It really angers me as being a graphic designer I know how effortless this is to do and also how wrong it is to take images/designs of other objects that dont belong to you to make profit. The one in Leeds has alsorts of images from TV shows, various Films and so on...

This one here might not fall into the latter category, but still.. All theyve done is taken a photo of a Joystick into photoshop, altered the colouring and duplicated it a few times to make a Warhol style image.

EDIT: You only need to go onto their eBay shop to see the lack of effort they have made producing this 'art'.... ugh!

Yeah I agree with you. That's what I meant really - The complete 600 PAL SNES games are worth alot more than the same 600 JAP games.

Rendering ranger is a special case as it was a very limited release,
Missed out on a rendering ranger for ?80 on ebay last week Unboxed mind.
What other jap retail games are worth such a price?

I think some pal games like Whirlo have fetched over $500 mind!

And don't forget there are also pal and US not for sale games like Starwing competition/starfox weekend and Donkey kong counry competition that are very rare and valuable!

I would not count unofficial games for a fullset but there are games on SNES that people have made which will sell for very silly prices which I think may match the $800 ,
Starwing 2 or the fully transated secret of mana 2 for instance.

BTW, How much did you pay for your super famicom wars ? I have one on the way from Jap as we speak

Quite tempted to make an offer of about £10 see what he does.
I bet my very own arsecheeks I will find this game under a tenner by next year, I can bide my time.

Apparanetly, if a game is not on EBay, then it means it is SO rare and worth 250 pounds

                                Also the auction states

(LIKE BUST A MOVE BUT MORE ADDICTIVE AND A LOT BETTER).
Hmm, it is a Puyo Puyo style game to be a tad more accurate and ?250 is way too much.
