Nah, they all went orange at a certain point in time cause of the law that came in that said toy guns had to be painted in bright colours so they won't be confused for real ones by the police.

I do wonder why noone has ever held up a US bank with a proper gun that they've painted orange though...

Or indeed, why a gun company has never made a light and mid grey gun that looks like the original zapper.

Mind you, crim's are never that clever...
Walking around with a single golf club raises attention and is bad.
Walking around with a single golf club with a carrier bag tied around the middle of it is no less lethal, but no one would care

Should that item be more in the ?30 (max) area?

I read something about this at the time regarding the Saturn Virtua Gun (the JPN one is black, but the PAL one is blue and the US bright orange.) Didn't realise it was actually the law though!

It must prove that some bankers are into retro gaming

Ridiculous prices. Maybe the recession has driven people crazy?

Anyone spending a grand on that lot in this climate (or any climate), really does need there head examined....

                    Check the other auctions.

                    One is titled:

"MY ENTIRE RETRO CONSOLE AND GAME COLLECTION"

                    Obviously a lie!

Sadly Mr Bones is a very rare game so the price is starting to go up on a number of rare saturn games. The last Courier Crisis sold for 70 and the last galaxy fight for 90 it must be a couple of collectors trying to finish there set. As mr bones is one of the very last saturn games I need a long with the two above and a couple of others.

Could we club together and set up some fake auctions for valuable stuff with low buy it now prices and then other members hit buy it now straight away thus driving down the prices? Over a period of time we could put these sharks out of business.

That quite a good idea maybe we can even do it for shining force cd to counter a well know seller.

That is indeed a good idea and something I'd galdly do, some of these prices are absurd. I've sold a fair few games on ebay and always tried to price them honestly as I don't want to rip anyone off. Some stuff I've sold has gone for less than I expected, some for more but that's the way it goes. I wouldn't have the front to ask that much for a lot of the rubbish in this thread.

Obviously if we start selling stuff like Panorama Cotton for 50p then no one's going to believe it but if the prices are kept realistic then it could have a genuine impact.

Did I over price this or under price it? Because I had several offers, minutes after the listing, which then sold almost immediately!

I remember struggling to get ?80 for it a couple of years back!

Don't know if that would really drive the price down as such.. those ridiculously high Saturn prices finished at auction so it shows that the prices indeed seem to be set by the buyer!
