TBH re SNES stuff if I were rich and found a factory sealed console I'd pay a crap load for it. Naturally I'd actually use it, just that factory freshness would be awesome

Interesting that ebay define new as "New: An item that is still in its original shrink wrap from the manufacturer and the original manufacturer’s seal (if applicable) has not been removed."

So if you bought games from the shops new but with a disc from "the drawer", you wouldn't then be able to sell on ebay as new.

Interesting that's different to Amazon, as anyone can list anything as new, I've seen a few SNES and Neo Geo games marked as new when cartridge only with no box or manual which is really really dodge.

Those NGPC games in just the plastic case probably are new, boxes of brand new carts in just the little plastic case were found just after the NGPC had been withdrawn from the market, they didn't have the outer cases and manuals to go with them.
