You should have just ran the text through Babelfish or Google Language Tools rather than wait for the seller's response - he states as much in the listing ("komplett mit h?lle und anleitung" = "complete with box and instructions").

Well, they originally listed it at 99p start .. and then withdrew the listing due to an "error in the start price or minimum bid amount".

At a guess, I would guess they saw some of 000npr000's sealed MCD auctions and decided to have a punt for the big bucks themself.

A little bit of knowledge would go a long way though .. I've picked up sealed Beast II on open eBay auction in the past for less than a tenner. It's just not rare or desirable enough to command that sort of price. That's on ?70 BIN listing fee wasted ...
