they do seem to sell for quite a bit, but not seen them sell for that much before! I tend to buy them when I see them at the right price just so I can sell them with modded consoles when I get them. Picked up a couple for less than a tenner on ebay a few months back.Comment

Just got one of those official RGB leads for ?12. That eBay listing is ridiculous but each to their own I guess. I've been guilty of payingway over the odds for something purely due to the condition, let alone rarity. Find the 3rd party RGB cables just as good actually.Comment

I paid ?8 on here for a GC RGB cable a couple of years ago for ease of modding. I don't think they're quite that rare. The PS ones are, though. They had one of those in the Bristol branch of Virgin for years and it never sold as far as I know (full RRP). I remember because it was the only one I ever saw for sale in an actual brick and mortar shop.Comment

Not necessarily a shocking price as it is rare, but I liked the history of this promotional copy of Ridge Racer Type 4.
He listed this item originally for a ?100 starting price. I asked if he’ll be interested in an offer, and he got back saying he would be but has already refused one for around ?85… So, I may as well not bother!
Unsurprisingly, the auction finished with no buyers but I was still considering whether to put in an offer encase he was bluffing. As I logged back in a few days later, the item had been re-listed for ?125! That listing failed to sell as well, and he’s relisted it a third time for ?125 again.

Crazy. A few months ago there were Trip World carts all over ebay.de for a few quid. Even complete. It's been on my 'to get' list for ages. Although the supply has dried up, I honestly don't believe I've missed the boat in any way. I have really begun to hate Ebay seller who buy up old crap and put it up for a stupid BIN. Not just ?999 etc but things like SNES Mortal Kombat for ?30 plus. Crazy prices and the games never sell but inflate the prices.
