Elite Media

I'm working on an Elite feature for my (still) embryonic retro-ish website (there's part one up already). I want the stuff I post on there to be quite media heavy as I love looking at old box art and manuals and as time goes by they get scruffier and there are less of them around as they get lost and torn - with that in mind you'll see I've scanned in the whole of the BBC versions manual and I've got the rest of the contents of the original box scanned and ready to post.

I'm basically posting as a request for help! To source more scans of Elite related items: adverts, box covers, pretty much anything. My site is hardly high traffic but I'll post you a credit if you can help. Plus of course I'd be very grateful.

Any advert scans would be very gratefully recieved as I have none

Go to worldofspectrum.org forums and ask there if they have any information and if you be nice to them they may let you use the scans they have on the server there too.

Thanks for the feedback vertigo. Being graphically challenged I tried to keep the layout simple. If you read any of it you probably realise I'm in desperate need of an editor! When your site is up send me a link.

Me too! The thing is, I can't be arsed to spend time making things look amazingly pretty, I just want to get my content/reviews up there!
I guess people like us would really appreciate someone inventing a truly drag-and-drop, click where you want to type HTML editor that does all the coding in the background while you basically just do what you want on a blank piece of paper All the ones I've ever tried have still been too much faffing about. I've managed to make a simple template now though, so it shouldn't be too long before I get something up there.
