When i think to many formats/choice was what i felt overwhelmed by yesterday trying to collect for too many consoles at once and spreading my resorces to thinly,that said i was very 'tired & emotional' when i posted this thread ;-)

I've been through several periods similar to that you initially described. I found myself buying too many games that whilst not bad (many were regarded as classics) weren't particuarly games I wanted to play. Now I tend to only buy the stuff that appeals to me and hence when a game arrives I want to play it and hence I will. The odd game turns out to be poor but most get the time they deserve. To be honest I don't think I've enjoyed gaming as much as I have over the past six months since I was very young.Comment

I think I'm giving up gaming for a good while. This next-gen 'buy a HDTV and find something wrong with it' business is beginning to wear me down (for the third time).Comment
