Games like Splatterhouse and Kung Fu Master are worth a quick blast but will be left gathering dust.

You only have to look at Goodge St Casino: Gunsmoke. Great game in its time but gets dull after a few blasts...

How about getting some standard Jamma cabs, and just switch the boards around abit for variety now and then.

You could go with the old style UK cabs or JP style Aero, Astro etc.

Alot of Jamma boards are quite cheap these days.

A players choice 10 would be pretty cool too. My student halls that I lived in two years ago had one at 10p per credit. Minty condition too! Despite me having a NES and a Famicom in my bedroom I still went down to play on it!!!

just prefer the old skool games

find them more appealing and enjoyable

would rather play double dragon, rygar, shinobi and splatterhouse than more modern games

feck even the rygar and shibobi updates were absolute dross

double dragon on the GBA was pretty decent

You lucky B*star* wish I live near there, I have to make do with either fruit machines or crap machines in the sea side, no Dungeons and Dragons (4 players as well) or Aliens vs Predator ever!

Couldn't agree more. I'd steer clear of packing it with retro. The odd title here and there is fine. If you have to have retro then I'd go for something that is multiplayer as that is more likely to draw the punters.

Oh and Gunsmoke is absolutely fantastic.
