There's no need to keep Virtua Tennis 1. The second game is superior to the 1st in every way. I got rid of VT1 a long time ago.

I thought the UFC game by Crave was really good and different. I haven't played a fighting game quite like it since.

A lot of people would disagree about Virtua Tennis 1 as VT2 just doesn't play as well.

A lot of people would disagree about Virtua Tennis 1 as VT2 just doesn't play as well.

VT1 has serious flaws which the the second game corrects. Cross court shots are badly implemented, serves are too weak, lobs are poorly balanced and the animation looks really poor next to the sequel. VT2 is so much better in every way. The balance between all baseline groundstrokes, volleys, serves and lobs is very good.

What's so bad about UFC? It's a decent game in 2 player mode.

I would never class virtua tennis as one of the worst games on the dreamcast. i know many people that still prefer it over the second one, and it still is a far superior game to recent efforts such as the top spin series, the smash court games, and all virtua tennis/virtua tennis 2 conversions to other formats.

The PAL DC games were identical to NTSC version due to enforced 60Hz mode on almost all of them. Hardware quality control wasn't as good though.

I'd understand your comment if you were talking about an N64, but it would still be a completely useless way of getting your point across. Unless your aim is to sound elite and aloof.

Hell no! I remember the Demo that came out before release, omg most played game demo ever for me!

They are very different games considering the very small timespan between them, I prefer Virtua Tennis 1 for it's better atmosphere and quicker pace, but Virtua Tennis 2 allows for a far more technical game and so if you're in the mood that can also be the better choice. Basically I VT
