Actually, I should probably retract that earlier Lode Runner statement - flicked through it again at lunchtime, and the SG version of Championship LR was indeed listed, and the original version is presumably covered by the "practically everything else" comment. Dunno how I missed it before...

Another top ish. Old 80's computers are never going to thrill me (interesting to read the articles though), but I think us lot were well catered for with SVC Card Fighters Clash, the Tectoy article, Snatcher, Shinobi, Sin & Punishment etc.
It's likely been said before, but perhaps the news section should be downscaled? Given the inherit delay with the print medium, and the fact that most people keep up with the latest news on the net. Your the editor of course though!

I personally think the news section of RG is much more valuable than in most mags because retro news goes unreported by most of the big websites. A lot of the smaller sites and forums have to be trawled if you want to stay abreast of the latest developments, which for most readers is going to take more time than they have.
/\ My two cents

True enough, suppose I do take places like this for granted!
Was really good to read the Sin & Punishment article. Only ever played the game on ROM myself, as I wasn't as import-savvy at the time, but did know of the game thanks to an article in N64 Magazine at the time. Will cry if it never appears on the Virtual Console.

The only thing I miss in the C64-feature is a mention of a game that had great impact on me as an young, aspiring goal keeper - I'm talking about Peter Shilton's Handball Maradona. The whole premise of the game is to save shots and it was excellent "dry" training for me when I myself was a goalie for my local boy team. I remember scouting almost the whole of England in 1990 (family vacation) for an England keeper suit.

Great mag again btw.
At the time though I was really enjoying it, so it temporarily made the top spot.
