I've gone a bit mad for 8 bit home.computers, just love the various homegrown scenes and modern hardware upgrades (the Raspberry Pi Pico has become ubiquitous as an engine for retro mods). Some of the games being written for the Memotech, MSX and Commodore 64 and C16/Plus4 machines are awesome - see also, the vibrant Spectrum, Amstrad, TI99/4A, Oric and Enterprise scenes.
Since just before the pandemic, I have bought: a Memotech MTX 512 (Danish model), a Philips VG8020 MSX 1 (cheap), an Memotech MTX 500, a Tatung Einstein 256 and another Memotech MTX 512 (UK keyboard) and a Commodore C16.
Haven't bought anything in at least six months and I don't really want to, because I have too many and I also want to contribute to the Memotech community by writing some software and that takes time and dedication.
