It's an awkward one this one as there's a lot In enjoy in this final.

Alan Wake is a great experience that I like a lot but I didn't vote for it as it's gameplay isn't up there with the others
Battlefield is one of the first entries I really enjoyed, I get the love too but it wasn't quite there yet
Deadly Premonition might seem like a bit of a forum meme pick but I voted for it because the full experience genuinely was that amazing
Fallout: New Vegas I really liked too but didn't vote for, it's a title where the memory is stronger than the experience of playing
Halo: Reach I have to always nod to as it's the entry I liked most up till this point, but it's still a peak of an overrated franchise
Mass Effect 2 got a vote, I think I went through it three times and have just started a fourth, brilliant game for someone who has little regard for the original
Mirror's Edge is so distinct and largely considered but I didn't vote for it as ultimately it was also cumbersome
Red Dead Redemption was an easy vote, it's still better than its sequel in some ways
Super Mario Galaxy 2 isn't as strong overall as its sequel as a package but thats a mere quibble for arguably the best game on the list

      Wow, what a great year.

I'm voting Lost Planet 2 as it's so varied and the only one of the ones I've played that is co-op and I had some magical times with guy from NTSC running through it.

Damn, missed BLOPS in the first round it seems. BLOPS single player campaign was ACE (the numbers Mason!), music was ace, what a cast Sam Worthington, Ed Harris, Ice Cube, Gary Oldman. Pretty sure it had the OG Nuketown map which to be honest is one of the goats for when you want super fast fun little pvp sessions.

Bad Company 2 was a hoot ; the multiplayer super fun I recall I really enjoyed the rush maps in particular on this one. With the destruction this got pretty mental very quickly. I do recall you'd get maps completely levelled near the end of the match.

Mass Effect 2, I enjoyed 1 more but this was still an excellent game. Combat a lot better than number 1 but the RPG stuff was pretty crap in comparison. Story was fantastic.
