I know it’s not the most popular game in the series but I really enjoyed Halo 4. Changing things to explore the Forerunner lore was a smart move allowing new foes and a change of art style.
I also picked up the MVS cart of Gunlord that year and while I’m not a big fan of the art style it’s a really solid game that doesn’t really have any direct competition on the Neo-Geo. -
I voted for Halo 4 as well. As someone who is often Halo-cynical, I enjoyed the fourth entry a lot, it felt like it really propelled the franchise back to feeling premier. Similarly, I've got Kid Icarus Uprising's back too.Comment

I barely played any of these games, but I really enjoyed Joe Danger 2, but I can't believe they went from that to No Man's Sky!
I've also voted for Batman 2, which was a really good Lego game and had a city to explore rather than the hub mode of 3.
