Wow 3 different bangers for me on the first page.

Black Flag was bloody great. Not as much fun being a pirate as in Sid Meiers Pirates, but gee whizz it came close. I loved almost everything about the game BUT whoever designed the stealth ship missions deserves a fate worse than death

COD Ghosts was pretty much bagged by everyone, but I actually really enjoyed it. I liked the story and as German Shepherds are my favourite dogs, of course I loved Riley (except of course

    when he gets shot

. Also even though I only played the first map, the Extinction mode was freaking unreal. I can take or leave the zombie modes but this alien one really hit the spot for me. I absolutely loved this mode and I reckon I played this more than anything else in the game.

Battlefield 4 is also one of my favourite MP games. I have no idea how many hours I put into this one but it is one of my most loved BF games. I still sway between this and 3 as peak BF for me (though Rush mode was way better in BF3). Levolution was a bit wanky but Commander mode FTW. And secretly who doesn't love 24/7 Operation Metro 2000 tickets

Another vote for Black Flag. The Carribean open world blew my mind bitd. Fave bit was the ship battles though. They were super satisfying. When Skull & Bones was announced I was hoping they were going to make that concept even better. Not to be.

Bioshock Infinite is my fave in the series (and I loved the setting of Rapture). Infinite delivered a progressive world in the series and also a great story. And it had a barbershop quartet singing God Only Knows

I missed BF4 when voting for black flag, that game saved the first year (and 2nd) year of the PS4 for me, and that is with all the problems from the levolution crashing the game hard the first 6 months.

BF4 was a franchise high the series never came close to again for me whilst Infinite was an amazing experience that gets over ragged on these days. There are several entries on this list that I enjoyed marking out an immediately stronger year. Ironically, Black Flag was the first major dud in the AC series for me. The ships were ****

You write these massive lists and I've not played any of them. I must play like 2 games every year or something!
