Darkseed is in English or at least the speech is. Dark Seed II is all in Japanese. The other games you mentioned are in Japanese as well. So are all the others such as Death Mask and Phantas..... what ever it's called.

Hmm, well yeah I'd say Dark Seed is playable since the speech is in English so at least you've got some idea what to do plus the text commands aren't that tough to work out. The others are probably not beacuse you won't be able to understand what they are asking you to do. You could just clumber through them though I guess.
