Well, consider it's small print and printing costs have really soared during last two years. I bet that the writer doesn't get much profit from each sold book, especially when you consider how much work he has put on the book.

I can't believe yer all bemoaning the price - this is an importers site ffs go pick on the £600+ PS3 purchasers

Book looks awesome - I think people will know as soon as they see the book and the price if it's worth it.

Speccy - You have to have lived it

How good the print quality and paper is? It's all shiny? I would buy this book just to support cause, if I had Speccy on the first place.

No - whether it's for them or not I don't see the relevance of it being shiny ???

If you lived the Speccy days right through like I did then it'll be a must-have purchase. For me, I have to have it - The fact it's a 1000 print run doesn't hurt either - I'd imagine in 20 years it'll be worth more than the price now

Nope. I was just wondering because it is rather common to have color prints on glossy paper, as color quality tends to suffer little bit from cheaper paper. And thanks for the impressions.
