What is your favourite console and game of all time

Mine would have to be the megadrive, the amount of games and different types of genre there were for an old console was good.

My favourite game of all time would have to be azure dreams on playstation i loved collecting the monster eggs and training up my monsters and building my houses

Console - Playstation. Brought me the largest amount of favourite games than any other console. Stick me on a desert island with one and stuff like Final Fantasy Tactics, Vandal Hearts, and Front Mission 3, and the wealth of RPGs and I'd be happily occupied for a long time. And that's before getting into the arcade games...

As for the game, well it's Dungeon Master on the Amiga. Been playing it for nigh on 20 years now and still love every moment.

Was very addictive, stayed up 42hours to play that, i remember when i finally got to the top of the monster tower, had all the friends i needed and every monster in my book and eggs tucked away in my house, then the game got robbed and the memory card crashed the save

So i rebought the game and the rest was history

some of the games you lot have mentioned are pretty good

System - DS. It reminds me of Super Famicom so much, and Super Famicom was the pinnacle of gaming for me. I've never managed to capture the feeling with any other console.

Game - Street Fighter 2. I could talk about it all day. I'm sure if you were there you'll understand.

Favourite console is a tricky one, I'd have to say on balance that the Megadrive tops it, despite probably spending more time with my SNES. The megadrive was the first import console I ever had, and some of the games hold real fond memories (Ghostbusters, EA Hockey).

Favourite game, not actually a console game (well, not really ). The Secret Of Monkey Island. No other game has ever topped its atmosphere for me, melee island is still one of the only places from fiction I want to go to It's a clever, funny, brilliant game and I still love it and still play it through regularly.

Favourite console: Dreamcast. So many good games in such a short space of time.

Thanks for all your inputs, its good to be reminded of all the old games, monkey island i didnt think i would see that game appear even though it is a good game, i made a remake of it once, maybe ill upload it once i make a website

Funny, I was just thinking that the other day. I never really felt the love with my old chunky DS but since getting a nice sleek black lite I've suddenly gone mad for it and have fallen back into my old Japanese import ways.
