This one was an isometric adventure type thing.

Your character was a bald guy with big feet (like clowns feet)

IIRC the purpose was to find and pull out plugs to drain levels of water/fluid.

Sweevo's World had a bald fella in it. But the sequel, Hydrofool, was the one with the plugs, I think.

Here's one ... I've just copied the text from Wikipedia, so please don't go Googling:

Players guide one of six craft (which are little more than geometric shapes in many cases) onto trampoline-like platforms. On these platforms, the player bounces automatically, higher, with each jump, until he reaches the maximum height possible for that platform (some are stronger than others). Every room in the game is a cube, and the walls contain doorways leading to other rooms. In this way, players have to work their way through the game's rooms, and reach different areas based on different emotions.

That sounds like obscure Amiga/ST 3d game, 'Alpha waves' which I recall being intended to induce alpha brain waves whilst you played it, A bit like Endorfun with it's 'subliminal affirmation messages' on the PC a bit later.

Ok, heres a game i used to enjoy back in the day.

You're the captain of a starship, and are able to visit various planets dotted around the galaxy, and visit the surface of many. The surface sections are 2D side on, (so it's not captain blood although it was french. ). Your character wielded a kind of lightsaber weapon.

You could also walk around and explore the ship itself in the same manner.

Finally, at the risk of giving it away too easily, it shares it's name with a well known arcade title.

Sorry Yoshi, the threads have been merged so there's a mix-up as to what's going on! My first thread tried to work out what game I was thinking of was (it was Edward Randy) which lead to me trying to work out this moon-based driver/shooter.

Your thread was a mini-game of guess the title.

                  Sorry to everybody getting confused!

Rebelli0n gets to ask the next one for guessing Peeveen's conundrum.

(If anybody knows what game I'm banging on about, please feel free to answer that too!)

Sorry, I was attempting to be funny as that could be a number of games.

Ha, I thought that was ridiculously vague!

I once invented a fighting game name generator.

I worked my way through a thesaurus for the words "final" and "fight".

                      Gems included:
                      Last Battle
                      Ultimate War
                      Antipodal Scrimmage

Shou - was the game you were thinking of the amazing "Antipodal Scrimmage"?

Sigh, No one wanted to play when i joined in, it's the nightmare of the school playground all over again .

In case one day someone in the future stumbles on this thread and actually cared what the answer was It was Starblade on the Amiga/ST. A game forgotten in the shadow of the Namco rail-shooter.

Not sure if anybody got this.

                              Night Stocker, pretty obscure.
