There an X Electrical near my work in Hammersmith, but they don't have much, so far I haven't seen many second hand shops around my area. You do find the odd baragin in them however.

12-51-00 do you remember the name of the Anime/Cosplay shop?

I used Raven game in the pass it would be funny to see what there shop is like.

The gamestations in London are also few and far between these days as well.

The London Forbiddon planet, also doesn't sell games despite it saying so when I went in there, which is odd as the one in derby sold tons?

'funny' is right. Go to your local B&Q and stand in a medium sized shed with loads of really overpriced, probably faded, items around you, that have been there for a good couple of years - then you won't need to visit Raven at all.

I might venture into X electrical tomorrow. See if theres anything to behold. Always on the look out for random MD games that commoners have thrown away.

I actually can't remember the name, it definitely begins with a K... Koeshii, Koekki, or some other random Japanese sounding word. If anyone's interested I can get the name and address from a friend.

The only systems I own are a Dreamcast and a Famicom so I've never really checked the prices on new games but when I've ordered Karous/Trigger Heart Exelica they said they'll do it for the price they pay from the supplier plus 15%, fiddling the VAT me thinks, anyway that came in at just over ?26 each... You could probably find cheaper places online but the staff are all decent guys/girls and usually up for a haggle.

I'd be interested in visiting, so if you could fined out it's name I'd be quite greatful. As there are some interesting shops in Soho and you don't really want to walk into the wrong shop if you know what I mean.

I went around in Soho and found a shop selling Japanese manga (even a few import PS2-games as well) in Brewer Street, but it's name was not anything close to Koekki/K../Koeshii/etc. Of course I can't remember the name now but it was pretty "plain". The shop was small and filled with japanese books and magazines. Couldn't find Famitsu though, had to buy that from Japan Centre.

It just makes me a bit sad that games are quite so, y'know... throw away. You go into a music shop, you can buy music from since when recorded music began? Games tho... more than 2 years on the shelf? f**k ooofff!

Was heaven when I went to japan :/ Trawling thru shops with pretty much the entire of gaming history in stock and ready to buy. Meh!

Went in X electrical in Kingston the other day and yep, just the dregs of the megadrive games. And some silly priced jap saturn games that I can't remember being any good. Ebay then :<>

That's what remains of the old book shop that was further down Brewer St many mooons ago. Back then they had a good selection, N64 games for ?35ish when CEX were at about ?50 for the same game.

They only stocked a small amount of games though and actually have more now!

They are great for buundles of complete manga series though. I always knew it Brewer St Books... not sure what it's real name was.

Ananami Shobi, I believe it was called as I was in Soho at the weekend but I didn't see any games there, what shelf they on? It's a shop with an old dry cleaners sign above it, which is a bit weird.

Yes, the name wasn't Japanese at all. A bit hard to move around in the shop as it's completely filled with Japanese manga and books. I found a few PS2-games and N64-games (I think) on the left side, by the counter.

Sounds familiar now you mention it.... I'll always know it as Brewer St Book shop though....

The games are stuck on a double sided black shelf ting left of the counter and opposite the music section. Makes it a lot easier than before as they used to be hung up behind the counter which mad it difficult for people like me who had no glasses but needed them (without knowing) and then trying to ask the price of a game without being able to speak Japanese. Good times

I may have to do a trawl looking for this different shop though, perhaps some informatino from the OP asto where it is would narrow things down?
