Jap Megadrive

Hi Guys,

I just bought a Japanese Megadrive I but it has no power supply.

Do I need to get a Jap PSU and some converter ? I am in Ireland so UK type power supply adapter required I guess ?

Any help much appreciated.

You can use a UK 9v power supply fine.

I have a pile of unwanted boxed japanese megadrive games if your looking to pick some up.

Do you mean from a UK Megadrive or just a generic 9v ? Where would I get one ? WOuld I get one on ebay ?

Yeah a UK megadrive PSU, or any 9v one that will fit, master system etc.

Im at work now ill pm you mega list tonight.

Any power adaptor that supplies between 9v-13v should work (due to the Megadrives internal voltage regulator), it needs to be centre negative polarity and have a 2.1mm DC tip.
