There was a pal final fight 3 which ended on ebay yesterday. Ended up at ?62, and that was with the front page of the instructions missing.

Well, here's what it can get in complete condition:

Surprised CastleVania: A Vampires Kiss didn't get a mention in here. I got it complete in average condition for £11.99 about 10 years ago from a local indi shop. However I had never come across it before that, and since then I've only seen it on ebay a handful of times, the complete ones (even in bad condition) never seemingly dropping below £80.

I thought final fight 2 was pretty good.

Didn't like 3 as much but i thought it was pretty amazing how you can play 2 players with the cpu controlling player 2.

Personally I enjoyed final fight 2, and think 3 is amazing. Easily one of the best scrolling beat 'em ups ever made.

The original Final Fight coin-op is one of the classic scrolling fighters, if not one of the classic Capcom games.

Disregard the SNES/SFC versions, all of which were utter rubbish.

Although the SNES / SFC Final fight games are not that great, When you compare them to most other scrolling beat em ups of the time they were near the top of the pile.

Turtles in Time on the SNES is the best scrolling beat em up without a doubt !

Guess who stupidly sold his years and years ago for bugger-all.

What about The Firemen, i was always after that ever since i saw a review in Super Play. But at the time couldn't find it anywhere or since.

I rented Soul Blazer, fantastic game. Preferred it over Actraiser (was it a sequel to that, for some reason i always thought they were).

Not a sequel, but it was made by largely the same team afaik. They did do Actraiser 2, but binned the God sections.

The only problem i had with Soul Blazer was the goddamn awful boxart. Im sure it put alot of people off seeing as the snes was flooded with alot of ****ty games at the time. Of course the good always outweighed the bad on the Snes. It just had a ****load of games.

Turtles in Time was great on the SNES, no doubt. All the more impressive given that the coin-op original from which it was converted went totally unnoticed in the arcades.

Best ever SNES scrolling fighter? It has a case.

Best ever scrolling fighter? No - it's some way off, to be fair.

Really? I'm not sure - there were plenty of scrolling beat-em-ups to be found on the SNES & MD (and in the Arcades) back then that were at least as good as the SNES Final Fight games.

Gametrailers.com have Turtles in time as the best ever scrolling beat em up and I agree.

There is only one scrolling fighter that can match it IMO and that is a little known capcom game for Sega Saturn (and playstation) called Tenchi wo Kurau II , Man that game is sweeeet ! One of my faves of my collection

I beleive it was released in the US as Warriors of Fate.

                                Check it out-
