First batch was £99.99 at Game, second batch dropped to £79.99 online at places like Amazon. Not sure if the second batch ever made it into the shops; if so probably only to fulfil original pre-orders at the £99.99 price. The game on it's own was £29.99, released alongside the first batch. Time difference between batches was 2-4 weeks. Rumoured 4000 units released in the UK.

And this is just one example of why Videogame collecting is really not worth it.
Despite what everyone thinks, no game will hold its value or will be worth a massive amount in any given time.
As Samba is such a good party game, now is the time to pick it up as all the vultures have got their copy.

It's not worth it if you're in it purely from a financial point. In fact it's one of the biggest wastes of time and money I can think of if you collect for the future values. I bet there are thousands of people up and down who are utterly devestated at the PSN/Virtual Console/XBLA releases now, finally making some utter gems availible to all without needing a second mortgage.
The only reason I stumped up £100 per set for 2 packs of Samba was because I actually wanted it in 2 player, and when I was going for a full PAL set I also needed the PAL ver as I only had the Japanese ver to start with.

There are a couple on ebay now. One is £99 plus £15 postage and has a bidder. The others have bidders too.
I paid £69.99 brand new not long after it came out. Got a second set of maracas (unofficial for £15). Love the game and broke the lampshade at my old house during a good gaming session. Now you have got the damn tune stuck in my head...
