    Loose Super Famicom cartridges?

Having trouble with some Super Famicom cartridges I bought off ebay a while back. I think that the 'nuts/screws' joining the 2 halves of the plastic cartridge case together may be slightly loose. I put a tight elastic band round one of the games that didn't work, and I actually got to play it for about 10 minutes until the screen went black.
Can I buy a tool to tighten them up? Do people think my diagnosis of the problem is correct? I have a Chomakaimura (SG&G) cartridge, and it doesn't feel right when you push it into the cartridge slot - like its not a really tight fit. Anyway it doesn't work at all, which is a shame. Please help.

Maybe it's put put back together the wrong way around?
    Kept you waiting, huh?

The tool to remove/put the security screws back on is a 3.8mm gamebit, these can be found on eBay (Search: 3.8mm gamebit).

Did you try cleaning the game cartridges connector first? Even if it doesn't look dirty, it could be quite filthy and corroded. Sometimes you wipe them and they come off all black on the cloth.

Possibly try cleaning the SNES cartridge slot too.

If the cartridge shell is a bit loose, that shouldn't really affect the mating of the cartridge edge connector with the SNES cartridge connector.

If it isn't a tight fit its possible that the cartridge connector pins have moved backwards a bit or are corroded.

I think there is a guide on mmmonkey.co.uk as to how to fix this problem. It is fairly easy and there are quite a few pictures to help you.
