Seconded. I used mmmonkey's guides for modding my snes and md. They are the best out there.

Thanks to him I've done around 10 Saturn mods (with the chip from maplin) and an MD full-whack mod (50/60Hz, country, cart slot, cart pin tightening), too.

His pictures, diagrams and descriptions are all top-notch. Also, and this is probably the best thing - he's based here in the UK and so gives part numbers we can actually order (from stores like maplin).

I cannot recommend his site enough, and I hope it stays online for ages (unlike my previous holy grail, Tim's Saturn Page. I think it was Tim, anyway. It was a short name).

I'm in the middle of doing the 60hz mod. My wife's old MD is currently laying on my table with its guts hanging out until I can borrow a drill from my old man to prepare the case for the switches!
