Model 2 emulator updated - Network Play!

Thought this would be of interest to some of you.

ElSemi's Sega Model 2 Emulator has been updated very recently, with one huge feature to it... LAN play.

Sega Rally, Daytona USA, Motor Raid, Sega Touring Car Championship, Virtual On, all fully playable with network support so if you've got two moderately powerful PCs in your home networked together, you can have some vs. daytona going.

No links from me for obvious reasons but it shouldn't be hard to find, just giving you guys a heads up.

Oh, no netplay then? still gives me a chance to have a little blast on sega rally as I cant be botheres dusting the saturn off

Well the actual arcade hardware itself relied on a fast network connection. While it IS possible to get it working over the internet (I tried it with Rivuzu and Sega Rally actually picked up the network connection over the net), you need a very, very fast and low latency connection between the two of you to get it in any playable state at all.

If you have a fast enough computer to run 2 instances of the emulator at once, you CAN configure it to link up that way.

Somebody screenshotted themselves running the emulator 8 times and having an 8 car Daytona USA linkup going. O_o;

Wow ty, well I only have 1 pc pad is more the problem, and damn windows Vista for not seeing both triggers. TY silvergun, I think a few of these can keep me occupied during work :P

is there any kind of substitute for a light gun as playing with a mouse is a little unfair & unfun
