To be honest I'd never heard of Klax. I saw it when I was out and made the decision to pick it up solely on the box art, like I used to do when I was a kid. So addictive.

You should check it out on the Lynx if you have one. That is some eye-bleedingly good artwork though.

Still chipping away at Zelda: A Link to the Past. Finished Misery Mine last night and man alive was the final boss hard! he kept spamming this room sized electrical storm at me and it took me a while to get his pattern down. Also, think I've found the fairy fountain you were on about, Noobish. Used a super bomb to knock one off the walls down at the main temple (where the castle is in the light world) and threw my bow in to get silver arrows.

No that's a different fairy. That one was fat and ugly, right? The one I was talking about, I think you have to swim up a waterfall in Zora's domain.

Congratulations on getting into Misery Mire. That stumped me for years, until we got the internet at school and I could look it up.

Must admit, I had to consult a guide to find out you had to play the flute/ocarina at the weathervane. Not sure how exactly you're supposed to know - maybe the chap you get the flute and shovel from drops a hint?

Well, I don't recall how, but I did already have the bird when I gave up. I just didn't know you were supposed to fly into the swamp. I was always trying to find a way in from the outside, as I recall. Pretty obtuse.

Doing one of my regular revisits to the classic Tomb Raiders (PC). This time TR3 mucking around with some of the bugs and glitches which allow shortcuts or you reach 'illegal' areas. Provides a huge amount of extra gameplay to an already great game.

At the Musee Mechanique (http://www.museemechanique.org) in San Francisco last week and found a Pole Position machine. Got a photo but the uploader is saying it's an invalid file (without saying why!)

Beat Turtle Rock yesterday in ALttP. Definitely my favourite dungeon so far. Really enjoyed taking out the fire and ice heads of the final boss - just the right amount of challenge for me. On to Ganon's castle now. May take a detour and try to pick up a few more heart pieces as I'm sure I'll need them.

Did you get the invisibility cape and the medallions and the canes and everything?

Got the four bottles, both canes, I think all the medallions. I am missing (I think) one thing on my inventory list. Do you need absolutely everything before you enter Ganon's castle?
