    Japanese manual for GPB Q

Some time ago I bought a Gameboy Player from a forumite for the Panasonic Q. I noticed there's only 1 sheet of paper, but no manual inside the purple box. So, i was just looking for a manual to download, but I can only manage to get me the European version here. I was lookin at the Japanese site too, lots of loose parts and manuals, but not for the GBP...

Anyone got a link to an original digital version like the European? (but in Jap of course, preferably for Q version if that exists)

    Thanks in advance,

    Shinebi

Yeah, got all those too, (it was complete) but it might be my mistake, seeing you posted the large manual too

I did assume there would be a small one in the disc's box too...
Gonna check for the large one (which I have most likely)

        Thanks for clearing it up.

You're based in Japan and you can't find one?

At the time I bought it (from MoFo2, thanks again buddy!), they were still offered on SuperUfo, I checked today for Nu-Eclipse: they're gone from the site...

Yeah, that'll work. Especially as the base of the Q & GC Gameboy Player are totally different sizes.

As long as the connectors line up to plug it in, it would still work.

If your really intent on looking for a q gbp they do tend to pop up on yahoo auctions from time to time & even ebay but on ebay they tend to cost a bomb.

I remember pics of someone who actually hacked up their Q and a normal GBP to do just that.

How much are they worth then? Last time I saw one it was around £100, but I thought they'd dropped since then.

                        Ugly as hell they are.

When looking for the manual, I came across a couple of reviews where they also stated that some guys just cut off the leggs. I also remember mentioning cutting something from the GBP too... Such a shame to molest the Q.

EDIT: huh similar post... (I always post inbetween work and sometimes leave it in cue)

I'd say they're probably going up in value if anything. Usual high eBay prices (last time I looked) are around the £200 mark, but that's eBay for you .
Also just out of curiosity, do these come with their own Panasonic GBP start-up disc (Panasonic logo's etc), or is it the standard NGC (Jp) one?

From memory I think it is a standard Japanese Nintendo GBP boot disk, no Panasonic branding within the GBP software at least. Might have a different part no. though.

It's the dark transparent blue/purple jpn style GCN game case you can see in the pic above.

I remember places doing pre-orders for about £45, then when most places sold out they hovered up to £100 for a while, but last time I checked they were heading back towards £50. The Q itself has tanked in value too, used to be ~ £300 new, £200+ second hand.
