Help pls-Ferrari F355 Renewal Edition???

Hi I got a PS2 japanese copy of Sega's F355 challenge but it's called the 'Renewal Edition'?
Now I wasn't even aware the such a version existed,did a google search which yielded little result.
Can anyone shed any light on this version for me, how is it it different?

All Jp copies are called that mate, mine is too. Just Sega being a bit ott, in pointing out the PS2 version has some addintionl features* over the DC version.

*exterior viewpoint and all tracks 'unlocked' are the only diffrences iirc?

It also has that "Great Driver Challenge" mode where you score points.
