I've owned the original PuLiRuLa arcade PCB..its strange! I loved it.
Already have played tenchi before, but going to pick it up again.

Vertigo..Its a bit like Bishi Bashi Special, albeit with far less mini games, I reckon around 25. The first option is like the main game, you confront an enemy, then you choose out of 4 mini games, complete so many mini games and you defeat that enemy and move to the next.

When you have beat all enemies you have a boss fight. Button pressing or joypad waggling.

There are 4 options. 1 : Main Game. 2: Haven't played enough of it yet as I have been playing option one, but it seems to be like option 1 but the mini games go when finished and you earn money which you can spend in a shop. 3 : Lets you play any of the mini games. 4 : Sound Options.

I checked ebay and you can pick it up for a fiver. A fiver well spent IMHO.

Not any more mate. The RAM cart pack will set you back 12'000 yen or more easily while the disc only version will be about 7000 yen. In fact it's always been expensive. You must have got a great deal on it mate. Lucky you!

Oh yes. I forgot about this one. It may not look super hot but it's a really good solid platform like shooter

I got hours and hours out of Fantastic Pinball, and I think it counts as obscure. Very goofy, colorful, cartoony pinball game; my wife and I would take turns playing it because a good part of the fun comes from the little animations that are going on while you're playing, and you miss those if you're actually concentrating on the ball.

Are there any good overlooked Saturn FMV games ?. Please I don't want cleverly dicky responses and jokes about FMV or Saturn FMV for that matter .
I enjoy the odd FMV game , and really like my Saturn versions of Road Adv/Cobra and Time Gal/ Ninja .

Rockman Adventure - there are 2 revisions and one of them is flawed.
                Street Fighter Animated Movie game
Macross Do you Remember Love - although this is more of a shmup kind of thing?
                Policenauts - Japan only though

I realise this is a japanois thread but Mansion of the Hidden souls is a cool short play through in English.

                      Sexy Parodius?

Despite the fanservicy nature of it, it had a few good twists on the parodius format (such as the missions)

Another vote for Rockman Adventure, great Megaman game, I've got a copy of the game myself and finished it, but whats the problem with the flawed version of the game.

Metal Slug also had a bug fix release, but it really hard to tell which is which, I think I've got a buggy copy.

Torico is another good puzzle/fmv adventure
D isn't bad but very very short and enemy zero is very good but that more fps/horror

Well, its been ages but the flawed version of Megaman did lock up somewhere. I believe they had different boxart.

Ended up scoring both, and selling both off.

Agreed (this was going to be my suggestion too ). Lee @ VGI recommended it to me and he was spot on.
