    Sega CD question

I just purchased a sega CD and I was wondering if any cables (other than power pack) were required for it to work.Im sure I heard something about a cable that links to the megadrive. Does anyone know where I can buy these?

Dont need a cable link with the mega drive afaik. That was the 32x.

The connector on the plate for md2 or the side for md1 does all of that stuff.

You need a cable for stereo mixing, but I've never been able to tell any difference when you don't use it TBH.
      Kept you waiting, huh?

It makes a huge difference if you're using the R&L audio output jacks of the Mega CD . Without the mixing cable you're not hear the Mega Drive FM sound effects , and a lot of Mega CD games use both the Mega CD audio chip, and the MD audio chip. You can also use the MD volume control to alter how load the MD sound effects are in Mega CD games too.
