    Expensive Pal Saturn games

Since joining the Retro community and watching people getting new games in the post, I've decided I'm going to start going for a pal Saturn collection. I already have Guardian Heroes, Dragon Force, Shining Force III and Burning Rangers. But what other rare games are there out there and how much should I expect to pay for them.

Please don't turn this into a "you should get Jap as it is ta best" because I'm not interested. I already have taromarou, d&D collection, all the big shmups, so i'm aware that they exist. I just want to set my sites on a potentially easy system to get a complete, cheapish collection for and thought this could well be it.

Panzer Dragoon Saga is an obvious one that will set you back £60+ depending on condition.

Enemy Zero is fluctuating toward new heights at the min, i sold a smashed up copy for £20 recently and saw a minty one go for £50.

Dragon Ball Z (spanish or french?) is another.

Yeah I never should have sold mine

But yeah, Panzer is going to be a biggie, but if I get bored and decide to sell the colleciton at least it will hold its value.

I looked on digit press for rarity, and understand that the Street fighter collection is rare (there's one on ebay for ?150) but there are no price guides, so I don't know what stuff is worth.

Jewels of the oracle is a rock hard to get PAL release too, the Discworld games are not too cheap either

                Thanks mate that's really helpful.
A few people have suggested the DC, but i'm pretty sure the good to **** ratio is a lot better on the pal saturn...

I'd disagree, the DC PAL range actually has one of the better ratios for good to **** releases. I dare say it would be alot better than the PAL saturn which has tonnes of crappy titles and one of the worst pal libraries. Moreover being an early 3d console most of the games have aged terribly seeing that weren't even pretty to look at on release. Even rubbish DC games are mostly easy on the eye.

Jewels of the Oracle £35-£50 (very variable though - can sometimes go way higher)
                          Keio 2 Flying Squadron £35-£50

Mortal Kombat Trilogy $! the hardest one imo £75-£125 (hardest to price, as sales are few and far between!)
                          Mr. Bones £25-£35
                          Street Fighter Collection £30-£40

Not a bad list. All the top category are more or less correct for high value (although you can sometimes catch Popoitto and SF Collection for less). £150 is stupid price for SF Collection. You should be looking at £30-£40 max. If you're lucky you can get it for £10-£15.

I would possibly put Courier Crisis up into the higher bracket. Not necessarily on price grounds, but on rarity - it's definitely a tough nut. Not at all convinced that Striker 96 is that hard / expensive to find. I seem to recall that NHL All Star 98 wasn't easy though. Frankenstein, Maximum Force and Atlantis will all be towards the higher end of the scale for the lower bracket too.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy will without a shadow of a doubt be the hardest one to find. Good luck with that!

(N.B. added some approximate prices for the games listed above. I might be a little bit out of date with some of these pricings, but ought to give you an idea anyway)

God bless you Tirian. I was hoping that someone like yourself would turn up

The annoying thing is is that back in the day I had the likes of Mortal Kombat trilogy, PDS, and a host of other titles and got rid of them . You live and learn eh.

I could be wrong here but I think Golden Axe: The Duel and House of The Dead may be harder to get a hold of for a pal machine too.
